The only combat vessel to have survived both World Wars. The fully restored battleship serves as a naval museum with exhibits about its wartime service. An educational and fun experience. Byzantine Fresco Chapel Museum

Two 13th-century frescoes are housed in an exquisite steel-and-glass structure that approximates the size and shape of their original site, a Byzantine chapel in Cyprus. The frescoes were reassembled in Houston, after thieves had stolen them and cut them into 38 pieces.

One of Houston's more unusual attractions! More than 3000 photos can be found here having to do with Hilton's life and the hotel business. You can also see some of the awards, plaques and one of Elizabeth Taylor's wedding albums (from her 1950 marriage to Conrad "Nicky" Hilton, Jr.).
